Hi everyone,

I would like to re-arrange my albums in "my drawspace". At the beginning i did not know properly, so I created one album for one drawing only.So a lot of albums in there.

Now i would like to re-arrange my albums like one albums for Brenda's lesson. one for weekly challenge etc.
Without posting again how can I transfer my drawing from one album to another album? So I can delete some albums.

Could anyone can help me to solve this problem?

Thanks

I know it can be done. I believe an administrator has to do it. Keep in mind, I think you loose the number of counts on the picture and the comments. Check with Ernest too, he may be able to help.

We moderators can't do anything to help, unfortunately; only "admin" can move albums. I believe that they can move things around without losing comments. The other alternative is for you to create your new gallery, re-post the images in it (saving them from your existing galleries, if you don't have the files) and then delete the older galleries. You can do this yourself right away, but the downside is you lose the comments.

Thanks for the advice Slim, Ernest.
May be I will post them again otherwise a lot of albums in "my drawspace"
even I love the comments. I understand this is the only way I can do.

Thanks

You can always copy and paste the comments into a separate file like wordperfect or word, and save them. Won't be the same but at least you will know what they said 5 years from now cool.gif

Good idea Slim,I am still thinking which way I want to do?
If I keep on posting drawings I will get comments.
So I don't worry much now. Thanks Slim.

I made the same mistake -- yesterday. Today, I solved the problem.

Choose the album you want to be your main, or only, album. On the right, there is a pull-down menu to select an action. Choose "upload."

Then scroll down to "Browse," and, as usual, find the artwork you want to upload. Go ahead and upload -- it might be called "Apply."

Next, go to the album where you originally posted the picture by itself. Choose "delete" from the action menu on the right.

Repeat with each of your pieces, and voilá! You'll have one album with all your pictures. (Of course, you could do more than one album. by category, for example.)
