I want to help people who do not speak English.
I have Permissions to translate the lessons?

Send the request to Brenda Hoddinott, the site owner and creator of the lessons.
It would be her decision as to whether or not you were allowed to have the lessons translated.

Hi NeriJunior!
Thank you for bringing up this topic. I've thought of this many times but do not know how such a project could be done.
My primary concern is being able to monitor the content. Someone could write something rude or inappropriate in another language, and those of us who don't read that language have no way of knowing what is said?
We would need to find a way to check content. Maybe if this idea is popular, someone could offer their expertise to help organize such an idea? We would need a team of volunteers to oversee a project of this magnitude!
Would adding the translated text of lessons to a section of this forum be helpful? Of course students would still have to follow along with the illustrations in the PDF files. I expect you'll find many who would enjoy reading instructions in their own language.
With the organization of bilingual volunteers into competent translators, we could begin by setting up a pinned topic "International Lesson Translations" (or something similar)? Maybe the translated text could then be put into categories such as "Lessons translated into French" or Lessons translated into German"? Several lessons could then be posted under each topic; for example: Lesson P05 in Spanish or Lesson A01 in Dutch?
Any other ideas? Maybe someone can think of a better way to do this?
Brenda
