Hi everybodey!!!
A lot of you praised my artwork and I am very hapy for that. I am working to corect my work to be perfect acording to yours suggestions for improvement. BUT thare is one thing I can,t do and that is how to paint.
So I decided to make a competition for all members who know or dont know how to paint. I want you to take my images from my galery and paint them as you think it shoud be painted. I would very much like to see my starcrusers and caracters painted You can sand me your work on e-mail or post it in your galery, the best ones will be posted in my galery after very exhaustive study of all your work

You may not get any takers on your contest as most artists like to do their own work from start to finish.

You might do a search on Google or another search engine for painting tutorials so that you can learn to paint. I've found many of them online to be most helpful. That way the work you do will be all your own.

I belive in our members and I wolud realy like to see my drawings in color but the fact is that I dont know to paint I realy tried, looked on internet, books, magazines, tried to practise and all, but it is hopeless
I can only hope that some of our members will help me

I'm sure there will be some takers for your offer Imperator, but it might help if you add a link to your drawings or post some here so people can see them. I've just had a browse in the gallery and I can't find yours.

I'm sure they are there, but I haven't got time to search through all the pages for them.

My suggestion would be to post a couple of your favourites here so people may be tempted to paint them.

Myself I do not paint that well ..so I would be of no help . sorry

You have got some nice stuff on your gallery. I tried that idea some time ago but it did not work. I am not that good at painting too, or else I would have helped. Did you get some takers by the way?

When I saw this topic I was realy suprised. It pased some time since I started this one.

Well unfortunately J Lynn was right I didnt get any takers but thats cool. I listened to her advice and searched for some painting tutorials for photoshop and luckily found some awsom one. I reasently downloded it and started to learn. Well I see if can upload some of my paintjob for you to see.

I want to thank you all because without your help I dont think I would go in to this paint work.
If someone still wants to paint some of my work be free to do it I am always open for new ideas.

Hey, great job! Good for you to go out there and paint them yourself.... where did you find the tutorial to learn how to do this. I have Photoshop on my computer, is that what you used? I can just barely use photoshop, and don't have a clue how to do layers, etc. I have books on how to but never seem to quite "get it".

Again, you really did a nice job on those pics, lets see some more.

The site I got the tutorial is www. digitalart.com it is mostly for comics and it is realy great.
I also have the book but never ever learnd any thing from it it is much beter when you see the move that shows you how to do it.

Thanks, I'm going to check out that website. I have a hard time learning computer stuff from books, but once you show me, I get it. I've never really tried any digital art. I guess its about time I did. Who knows? maybe I'll like it. LOL

I don't paint. I just draw but at anyrate,
I'd rather create my own work. I'm a big fan of originality.
