I love maths... and physics chemistry... and art. That's why I went to study architecture to university. I think, architecture is one of few subject fields which contains all these. Unfortunately I didn't have to chance to finish my studies.
I hated history and literature because I have problem with remembering names and dates.

Trish, are your zentangles ink? Can you add color to them after they are finished. What size do you usually make them? I think they are fascinating , I like patterns, BUT they look like a lot of work. However I still doodle when I am on the phone a lot of times or sitting at the drive-thru windows etc. Maybe I should just start one and add to it. Anyways thanks for sharing yours, very pleasing to the eye.

Nancy, They are micron pigma pens, yes, black ink. I have seen some of these colored in. The kit I sent for, was expensive, but has lovely paper I think the "tiles" as they refer to them, are 4" x4", or thereabouts, and a template of 20 different "tangles" as they are called. It also has a mini dvd with a demonstration of how to do these but I think you can figure it out for yourself. If you google zentangles, you can visit their website, click on the newsletters where they introduce new "tangles". There are some variations on zentangles, called zendalas based on mandalas, so they are circular and are filled with tangles. I have seen youtubes of people creating these. They are very relaxing to do.
