I am a 19-year-old female student from Germany and in a few months I have to write my final tests and then I am officially out of school with my own high school diploma.
However it is a loooong long way till then...
Anyway, at all times it was my dream to go to university and study art, but well I wasn't born with an amazing talent... sadly I also haven't got the opportunity to take art lessons to improve the little skills I had, so I was forced to teach myself by several books and web sites
I am still not one of the best artists but I'm eager to learn and create, so hopefully someday, I can say to myself: Yep! I did it!
And if you read this Mrs. Hoddinott I thank you so much, more than you can possibly imagine... your drawing lessons helped me over a very hard time, when I thought I would fail...
There are so much explanation I never read about and so much encouragement and love to the subject I was simply overwhelmed at first. Especially at the beginning when you write about extraordinary talent, it was like a deliverance, because I always used to compare myself to the "ideal artist" (I'm very perfectionistic).
Anyway thank you very very much!
PS: As I already wrote, I am from Germany and my english isn't that extraordinary and if there are any mistakes i like to excuse this by saying: I'm from Germany and my english isn't that extraordinary ^^
