I think you should add colored pencil, watercolor pencils, other water media to the list

Regarding water colour pencils, I have a set in a box as a friend gave them to me band new... Im more of a graphite person so is there any decent tutorials to learn to use them?

Airbrush. Greatest artist tool every. You can do anything from black and white to full blown color on anything that will set still long enough for you to paint.

You are so right about water color and air brush!!

Given that the site's called "drawspace", I'd have thought the result would be a foregone conclusion - as the membership are self-selecting - I'd have expected that the majority here are working mainly in pencil?

I'm an oil-painter, so I prefer brushes, but I'm here because drawing is good for me (/you/everyone) - drawing skills are the basis for representational art (which is what I do).

I would add crayola crayons. I love to color with my daughter, it is more relaxing to me only because I am not trying do draw from a subject. I can be free to just scribble or doodle or whatever.

I read all the contributors. I think I'll have to be a bit different.

I use pencil on scraps of paper to exercise (you can say I'm helping to save the world, lllolloll.....)
and then I use a "graphics tablet" on my PC screen to try out various things, and experiment more. As I
am, at this stage in any case, interested in caricaturing/cartooning it suits my purpose perfectly well.

Pencils are my favorite but I also love Ink and watercolor. I would love to use an airbrush someday it has always seemed like so much fun.

my favorite medium to use when it comes to drawing is scratchboard. which is kinda lke the opposite of drawing lol but its really fun and a lot of technique is involved. I've only put paint to one of the peices Ive done in scratchboard but it seems like they go well together.

I agree; you should add all pencils: including color and water color pencils. I also like chalks and tinted charcoals.

I love all art forms and bounce from one to another, but am finding I really love pencils.

Since i sketch alot, pencils are my favourite tool after watercolors. But i do also like to work with markers, which is a special ink in mavy values and colors

ok but isn't airbrush a bit difficult to use.....I mean everyone is gonna like it but I don't know much people who use it....
