And i like black & white drawings.

When it comes to paint, black and white is my favorite. This is simply because I lack the skills to deal with the complexity of color matching and mix. With black on white surface you only have to think about value and that is much easier.

Even though I do mostly color paintings, I have a love for Black and white!!! I love old black and white photos and I love people that can capture that in drawing and painting.

I'm not clear on what your question is here? Are you asking if people like black and white paintings or black and white drawings? They are very different issues.

Or are you just testing to see if you can post?

I thought he was just asking which we liked better, art in color, or black and white.

I'm wondering the same as jeanette, do you mean drawing or painting?

I presonally love seeing others who can produce a color painting that I like. With me, I find it easier to work with B&W drawing.

Depending on the clarity of the question, the answer is varied.

I like all art forms. I like paintings in colour or monotone. I like drawings in colour or monotone. I like graphite drawings. I can't say I have a preference of one over the other, as the subject matter, medium and artist technique all play a role in it.

I couldn't limit myself to having a preference.

Now I know what I, personally, like to produce. That is a different subject entirely.

Well, I like colored paintings better and generally I like colored drawings better too... but I usually draw in black and white because it's easier for me.

for paintings, personally I like color...BUT with that being said, I'm not against b&w either...I like both honestly. Depends on the subject matter.
