Hi,
It makes sense. I have been here for a couple of days only and wonder who is supporting drawspace.com. If it is only Brenda, it would be fair enough to allow for advertisements.
Enjoy your day.

Actually there is an option to become a paid member (I believe the subscription is monthly). What makes this place so awesome is that everyone can come and have a look and try out the lessons and such, but paid members get extra stuff, for example, paid members can download the lessons and print them if they wish, normal members or guests can't do this. I have no idea who here is a paid member and who isn't, but I get the impression that a lot of the regulars here do have a paid membership, and if my hunch on that is right, I think that should cover the website costs.
I think that all together, Brenda isn't looking to make a profit off of this website, she is trying to show people how to do something that almost everyone in the world wants to be able to do, and she's getting a lot of people hooked on paper and pencils... But when push comes to shove, wether or not this website has ads is up to Brenda and up to her alone.
I agree with you that if she were covering all the costs on her own, it would be only fair to have something like ads to help her out. If it ever comes to that she needs the extra income to keep this place going, I will gladly deal with the ads and I will gladly click them to help her out. But untill then, I think there's a bigger chance to see something added like the ripple ads that donate to needy causes, than to see actual random ads that clutter the screen and open random popups.
