My kitty cat. It was drawn rather lightly on old paper so the original image is a bit hard to see once it was scanned.[attachmentid=8818] The one I changed in photoshop is definitely a lot easier to see so I thought I would include it as well.[attachmentid=8819]

Thanks Brian, I did enjoy doing the pink panther - he is so....well....so skinny. But there are very slight indications of muscle here and there (not that you'd notice much though of course).
Kim,

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!! Priceless!

so here as promised my version of siks cat:
[attachmentid=8903]
it was funny to draw! but how did you manage to get your cat as black as it is ???
siksnosparnyte
Feb 8 2008, 08:11 PM
Great drawing, melthemi!
I used 5B graphite pencil for that drawing. That's why the cat is so black
Brian David Dekter
Feb 8 2008, 08:23 PM
That is really great
Melthemi I had a feeling
Siksno... would like it.....I think it's a fantastic drawing!
I decided to try a quick sketch of the Pink Panther....my first time sketching him... he sure was fun to draw.
This one is for you
Roselee
and I added muscle like I said I would...lol..
siksnosparnyte
Feb 8 2008, 08:36 PM
It isn't Pink Panther.... It's Pink Muscle
rosalee
Feb 9 2008, 01:48 AM
Brian - Thank you! I'm overwhelmed! There's nothing like a good set of masculine muscles, is there? **swoooon** :-)
Melthemi - I love your little black cat and what a wonderful scene you have given him to meditate upon.

Brian David Dekter
Feb 9 2008, 02:06 PM
Rosalee good ol Snoopy felt left out so it is great to see him.....I think he wants a dog challenge....

.....fantastic you are very creative and I adore all your drawings!
wolfos.. .....the poor cat is missing his butt....

.......fantastic drawing and made me laugh!
That sounds great
Melthemi and Siskno... actually we can make it a cartoon animal challenge if you like ...although I have another idea for the next challenge ....it is a surprise... and I hope to have it up soon....so how about we have the animal challenge in the near future...
maybe we can get
Siksno........to host it....???
rosalee
Feb 9 2008, 03:43 PM
Thanks Brian, Melthemi and Silks,
Wolfo - your buttless cat made me laugh - it's a talent some people have of not lifting the pencil off the paper and coming up with something that looks like something or someone This one reminds me of those ancient cave drawings (except for the crossed eyes). LOL!

Glad to hear your interest in drawing cartoons. It is fun drawing from your imagination. Studying from the real world and asking how can I make this look cartoon or funny and put a smile on someones face.

Thank you all for your submissions
