Are you using Chinese calligraphy brush & ink?? I like the quality of the crackle and pop of the timber in the flames in your logs one the best.

I am not sure how a more impressionistic work fits in here - but I am sure you will discover whether its the site for you and your work. It is a great site to learn and practice the basics of drawing and sketching.

But in case you are looking for people who work mostly in your medium with the freedom & flow that can come from that you could also check out Wet Canvas and their pen & ink forumas well.

I am using a Parker Fountain pen and my fingers.
I also do some pencle drawings.
I have joined this site to get to know some artists and show people my work.
