The rules are the same as always pictures must be drawn in either pencil, graphite, colored pencils, pen, markers, and type of drawing instruments. No paintings or digital artwork unless you show you have drawn the picture first.

Well here's my flower with colored pencil. It's in my 5.5 x 8.5 sketchbook

I can't get a very good scan with my scanner but you it's the best I can get at this time.

I just decided to take a break from carving and do some drawing.
Here is my contribution for this challenge.

I hope you like it. It took about 2.5 hours at least.
I know I draw realy slow.

as I take a second look at R.J.'s drawing...I can even see a person in the reflection of the eye...talk about detail...spectacular..... great to see you R.J.

I was a bit quick with my original post. I didn't talk about my motivation or challenge if you will.
The challenge with the eye was to get the distorted reflection done well enough so that you can distinguish the face, hand and windows in the background without taking away from the glassy look in the eye.

I think I almost got it right, but it could probably use a few more hours of work to refine it.

RJ you made a great work, the eye, is the eye of my nephew, in her pupil is reflect mi hand and the face of mi niece.
