thanks for the fast answer! I will search there for a drawing. - my problem is that I need for a first view a drawing just that I can imagine how hatching and so on are set.
(AND: how dark I HAVE to go .....)

SO you're looking for a DRAWING and not a reference image?

If you need to study how to draw fur, there are lessons on that which Brenda has done. YOu can find them in the Drawing Lesson section. Fur is fur, no matter what animal it is on. You use the same techniques to create it. It is slow and painstaking work if you want realistic details.

yes, drawing would be perfect! I found one yesterday - let's see ...
I had one try with fur until now. you can see it in my album - the horse eye. how did I do it ??
lessons: I had finished the lion. until now fur was not that theme but I will go on. for now is the problem that I have not enough time as my horse has some problems and I need to be with her every day. but both will grow better !!!! (I hope you know what I mean unsure.gif )

Hello Melthemi,

I hope your horse is doing better? I have some animal drawings in my album if you want to take a look. I think the best example I have for fur is the dog "Abandoned".

Like Jeanette said it is slow and painstaking work. Don't rush it and follow those lessons.

hello! - thanks for asking about my horse but I cannot tell anything new. for "real" results we will need up to 4 weeks ... hopefully it's getting better - she is my special!

I love your drawings wub.gif !!!!! the dog is no drawing this is nearly a photo ... arts.gif . I will try to "copy" some details and to get better. but as I told I began this year with drawing and my main problem is "black". I am afraid of using the higher B-pencils. although last weekend I started with using them on eyes wink.gif
until now I am following from A to beginning of D and I enjoy it very much!

also I found out that the first photo I have been drawing is the duck from you, Islander ... cool.gif
