Hi Marisa,
I just love the picture of the Hornbill. I thought he would make a great addition to my sprites so I am currently working on that in MS Paint. I have been saving it every once in a while so I can show the process. This picture shows where I am with about an hours work. The colour right now is just for defining space, not the colour that will he will end up.

Paulette: Fascinating, this looks like it takes a lot of patience. Are you working with a tablet or just a mouse?

You're welcome. My pleasure.

Here is the rest of it. I am working with the mouse, that is part of why it is so small.
I have about 3 or 4 hours into it.

Wow it's like painting a minature. Do you use a zoom tool?

paulette4
Yes I zoom it to 600% and I keep up a thumbnail, as it gets very pixelated near the end.
I did a post on my blog about this and directed people to you website. Great travel photos.
