Hey everybody,

I joined Drawspace in March 2007, a little less than a year ago. I just posted the 100th image in my gallery; I'm taking a moment to reflect. Looking back over those 100 drawings, I can see that I've grown as an artist. This site is a huge part of the reason why.

I have learned a lot from this site and from the wonderful people who hang out here. Special thanks go to our host Brenda, of course, and to all the friends I've made: Kim, Venus, Bob, Judy, Jeanette, Brian, Cyn, Marie, Paulette, Sue, Reed, Kev, RJ, Sarah, Gerard... the list goes on and on, and I know I'm forgetting some folks. Thanks to everyone who has ever commented on any of those 100 pieces, or the other bits and pieces I've posted here in the forums, and to everyone whose artwork has inspired me to keep improving.

So anyway, thanks again. Here's looking forward to #200!

Hi Ernest,

100 per year, that's 2 per week? I guess you really enjoy your work, and you know that practice, practice and practice is the path to improvement. Congratulations for your work and I hope you gave yourself a big hug for that accomplishment. Here's looking to next year, or sooner?

Thanks for your words of appreciation Ernest. I agree with what has been said. You have been a very valuable asset to Drawspace and an inspiration to many.

Your post reminded me that I have also been here a year. It has been a very rewarding year for me. It has also been a very tragic year. But that's the way life is, it seems. biggrin.gif
