i have a small problem with my drawing, i have been doing graphite for years. now i want to change to color,pastel or colore pencil, and i am not sure how to dothis do i make outlines in pencils or colored pencils ,i would appreciate all the help i can get,hank you all

If I were to make a drawing in colour, I would use either a very light drawing with maybe a 2h graphite pencil, or draw using a coloured pencil. I would avoid using a soft graphite like a 2B for example.

definitely graphite and Cp don't mix well but you can still try the way Steve suggested. For a tutorial and WIPs here on drawspace take a look at a few months old thread. let's draw a green apple.

It was a class where Jeanette taught us how to draw with cp. Hope this helps.
