Maybe a cub below her where she is looking down at it. The reason I thought of this is that a friend of mine has a tattoo on her shoulder of the lion king with his son Simba below him and it looks real nice. Its a cartoon though and not as realistic as your tattoo.

Hi Brian, Nice tat but yes I think it needs something below it to make it look less "floaty". Maybe even a neck and even some front legs, or the cub as already suggested.
