A hard-sided portfolio is indispensable for protecting your drawing paper and completed drawings from becoming wrinkled, damaged, or destroyed. You can buy many types of wonderful portfolios in art supply stores. However, most tend to be very expensive, especially those made of leather.

Okay, here's a portfolio, but it's empty!

Let's say we want to expose ourselves.... What's the best content for a portfolio? What are our future employers looking for?

Maybe I'm dense, but how do you "open" it to insert your drawings, since three sides are taped shut????? huh.gif

I didn't understand this, either. Can anybody clarify this part of the instructions for me? How does the portfolio open?

Think of an envelope with a letter in it. If you slit along the top of the envelope with a sharp knife or a letter opener, you can just open up the envelope at the top and take out the letter.

In the case of your portfolio, the two short sides are taped together, the folded bottom is taped just to reinforce it and make it stronger against wear, and the top two edges, the ones that on an envelope would be where you take your letter out of, are each individually taped so as to prevent them from ripping from wear and tear.

In short, just think of a big cardboard envelope with a couple of handles and one open edge at the top.

I haven't made a portfolio yet, but that seems to me to be what they're talking about.

Thanks, very much for clarifying the instructions. i was also thinking that Maybe the sides weren't taped together but individually taped for reinforcement so that you could open up the portfolio like a book. Like some of the ones you buy at an art supply store. But the envelope method would keep your drawing from falling out a lot better. Thanks Again. I think I'll post mine aswell once it's complete. wink.gif biggrin.gif

OK folks, after a fair bit of tinkering, heres how you get Hammer to play ball with Half-Life 2 without any copying files or making things read-only.

I will assume that your Steam folder is c:gamesSteam, because thats what mine is. However, its entirely likely that its c:program filesSteam. Whatever it is, make sure you change any references below to suit you...

Open gamecfg.ini - it should be in the bin folder of the sourcesdk ie c:gamessteamsteamappsusernamesourcesdkbin, replace the contents with this:

types of drawing paper planes are very different and some are very expensive, then this article would say one should buy the paper is not easy to cost as much and as he says in the article are those papers of various colors and are symmetrical and some of those papers is used with a rule that others are long and short and usually prefer to have a color paper are the colors to highlight a picture when used creatively.
