Sorry, I haven't heard of him and there doesn't seem to be anything online about this product.

Like all art instruction books, they're ok for reference sometimes, but I wouldn't rely on them. Keep drawing, keep practicing. The only way to learn is to draw. A book will give some techniques but won't teach you to draw.

thanks jeannette!
I have found it in a forum in germany and people seemed to like it. I ordered it this morning. next week I can tell you more ...
I just thought he is quite well known in the states as I read somewhere that most of now living popular drawer in ameica have learned from him ...

- the other point: I am practicing (nearly) every day. but time is running very fast during the last 2 weeks ... too much work, all persons ill - and me in their middle, also my horses ..... know what I mean mad.gif huh.gif

but yesterday I have started also with the betty edwards book. stood in front of my mirror in the bathroon and was drawing. - since yesterday I belive that we are relatives with monkeys !!! blink.gif - i will post the pic tomorrow. but I am still not sure where : self-portrait or zoo chellenge .... wacko.gif unsure.gif

I hadn't heard of him either, but his website is pretty neat. There's a whole section with annotated painting and WIPs with a lot of commentary. He does a great job with skin tones.

Here's a gallery of drawings; they're lovely.
