I'll let you know about contents in next weeks
Ciao
Yet received from Amazon.co.uk...at first sight my two cents about these books:
Getting StartedDescription of tools, good examples and projects; very quick to read...some excercises are very hard!
LandscapesGreat solution for everithing you need if you are looking for texture "cookbook" to use in landscape
FlowersGreat solution for everithing you need if you are looking for texture "cookbook" to use in botanics
CompositionIdeas to compose, correctly build you own still life and what to find interesting looks.
PortraitsSome complete projects including facial proportions and schema to correctly identify keys to drawing a portrait. I'm studying Art Academy DVDs on portraits and seems it's complicated to correctly draw a portrait. Readen "Draw on the right side brain"...but I'm not completely satisfied...great istruction to "see"...poor istruction with techniques, tools and exercises to do practice.
Dragons - Animals - Dogs & PuppiesA lot of ideas to complete textures, identify shapes, shadows...suggestion to correctly render all subjects.
I'm waiting for future outgoing:
Drawing Made Easy: Horses & Ponies
In any case great collection of books...a complementary guide to Betty Edwards book.
Ciao
Have great drawing with your pencils!
