This summer, in Paris, a group of people I don't know where they come from, offers free massage in the street (mostly on the bridge of St Louis). Ten minutes of free massage! I'm sure they will be back next summer. Avis aux amateurs!
Here is a sketch of the scenes. Behind are the buildings on the Seine riverside, too complicate to draw.

Thanks for joining in with your always beautiful drawings, NVA!
I have not managed to pop in for a couple of days - and it was such a nice surprise to find more wonderful 'memories'.
I love Siks's hands!

Memory sketches from my visit to the Zoo last Sunday . This is the Rhino's house, which was full of pigeons. All of a sudden a group of pigeons would fly up right into the visitors' faces.

I am legally blind and can't afford a model, so I draw from memory all the time. I love to draw people from all different cultures. Fortunatetly, Australia offers a vast differentiation of peoples to choose from.

More memory sketches:
A strange house - probably a sculptor's house with angels on the roof.
A lonely street with strangely trimmed trees.
And a girl in a mall selling necklaces.

Sveta - your drawings are so lively and fun! Your diary has inspired me to keep my sketchbook with me at all times, and I draw in it (almost) daily! Mine are mostly landscapes, there are more trees than people here. My drawings are not good enough to share, but I do want to let you know how much I'm enjoying your work! Looking forward to sketches from the orchestra concert!

These sketches are so inspiring, Sveta. Your view of the world is amazing, beautiful, sad sometimes, but always inspirational to me and others.

Dear Sveta,
I am so glad you are still posting your diary. I love your work, your sketches really convey the sense of the place and the activity there. Thanks for sharing them with us. It really inspires me to get back to my sketching habit. I carry a Moleskine in my bag everywhere I go, but lately, I have not done any sketches

I don't think they are.
I don't do sketches only final, complete works - but I enjoyed looking at yours; very honest and somehow real - like the people are really there in the midst of their activity.
..I just dropped in to say that.
-Thanks.

Sveta my friend, I've been slacking a bit with my drawing lately because of everything going in my life...
- but i'm coming back full force and i will try and post here as soon as i can!!
PS. i got myself a 'visual diary' drawing book type thing that i carried around with me and drew quite a few pictures and then from one day to the next it just disappeared!! i'm very sad about that - but i'll start again.

1. There was a power failure at work so I decided to draw this old phone sitting on my windowsill (i don't know what it's for, just been there for as long as i've been in this office) and also the rings i was wearing on that day.
2. A little ornament i got my mom that she's put in her kitchen of a chef "Chef Betty" is her name as written underneath it.
