I was recommended this link the other day and there are a lot of excellent tutorials on many different subjects and media: Artist Hospital. I found a great one on traditional inkwork with brush and ink and used it to make this banner, that I was asked to draw for a Tolkien page:

I have heard people talk about the Deviant Art site but I never checked it out. Thanks for the link. There is some great stuff there. I didn't know they had an artist hospital page. When I have more time I am definately going to check it out more. I bookmarked it for later.
Thank you, Hrymfaxe..

You are welcome Cyn. smile.gif I'm glad you found it interesting! deviantArt is sometimes a bit too big, but there are so many great paintings, drawings and tutorials there that the confusion from the size is worth it..

Out of the few artist things above the tutorials and the tutorials i looked at, this looks like a great site! smile.gif
I've looked at DeviantArt before, but the sheer size of it was a little worrying. blush.gif

Hi Spuddy

I looked through quite a few of those links and it seems there are indeed many good tutorials in there. dA can seem intimidating, but there is much good stuff there if you take the time to look. smile.gif

Very useful link Spuddy, I have added it to my bookmarks(I have a column of draw/paint links about a screen high..some day I'm going to stop reading and start drawing!) tongue.gif
