I have finished nine. I finally made peace with my box of watercolor pencils : I smashed a couple of pencils against the wall, so the other 22 started to respect me and stopped giving me trouble. smile.gif
I identified another two nice buildings to draw this week end, but I'll have to squeeze my brains to find a last one; you quickly run out of beatiful houses in this town.

Gonna pack these up this evening and try to get them posted tomorrow. smile.gif

Very nice Steve, you can tell you put a lot of work into these. You do live in a very pretty part of the world, that must be inspiring.

Hi Steve your cards are really beautiful. Haven't been to England yet but maybe in March
Songsparrow
I try not to let myself get complacent! Easy for me being an artist I suppose! It's all to evident that people rarely see the beauty around them. That's why we need vacations! To see something new. smile.gif
Claudio Pousa
Beautiful drawings, Steve! You have selected your subjects very well; very nice houses and landscapes, and your rendition of stone and other textures is excellent!
Me too, I wish to visit England soon; please send us your address, so we could all enjoy of free lodging and food smile.gif
Claudio

Hey everyone! I've been offline for a while, with too much work, but it is time to finish this up and let someone else host. You have made such lovely cards. I'm finishing mine up tonight, but will not be able to put up the pics for a few days. I can't wait to see what the rest of you came up with! biggrin.gif
*Roxy*
Well here's my contribution for this month's ATC, they are all on their way now well I went to send them out but I don't think the mail works in the weekend so it's probably leaving tomorrow but either way I hope you like my cards smile.gif

Wonderful cards Roxy! Here's mine - the architecture in my part of NC isn't as elegant as some places, but there's usually something to draw. smile.gif

From left to right
1. An old schoolhouse, probably closed in the late 1960's.
2. Two barns on a sweet potato farm.
3. The Ebenezer K. Best A.M.E. Zion church
4. A boat house with a sunken boat on the Pamlico River.
5. Not exactly architecture, but the local water companies and their towers are a rapidly disappearing feature on our landscape. Our water now comes from a nasty river. mad.gif
6. Tobacco barn and silo.

That completes my cards and they go into the mail today!
Claudio Pousa
Hi, well here are mine. You will find an eclectic mixture of elegant and ancient constructions (mainly downtown), some other near downtown but near parks or on the side of a mountain (meaning, a lot of trees), and finally, some others typically rural (also very near from home). A small town but beautiful and with many different faces.
I'll try to send them out as soon as posible.
Cheers.

I beg your pardon, Mr Perret, but I do not come from the Central Belt - there's a big difference. I wouldn't call you a scouse or a geordie! ( All those from America, Canada, etc. will be wondering what on earth we're talking about!)

Hey guys, are you spies or something?

Yesterday I received a beautiful car by Sveta, a passage between two rows of houses. Absolutely beautiful Sveta! Thank you! The colors are really delicate and the card is full of light. Incredible!

Click to view attachmentClick to view attachment wacko.gif I have had one heck of a time getting on drawspace!! I got my cards posted I really had a hard time with them my eyes sight has gotten worse and they are so small and then the detail. I do not know much about buildings I have a new respect for the ones that draw architecture. I have pulled out most of my hair. Ha Ha I know where I need to practice. If any one ask me to draw a building I am charging big time blink.gif I did the best I could do. shadow2b
