I was wondering if anyone has ever ordered DVDs by artist Sandra Angelo? I am interested in some on colored pencil and they are rather pricey. It would be worth it if they were good.

Not sure if any are the ones you want, but would be nice to see her style before buying!

The previews aren't working on my computer. They're all brightly coloured, weird and only show one picture for every few seconds...

I contacted the Virginia beach library several weeks ago, strange that this post should come up. I have checked out several or her vhs videos and between the one about watercolor pencils, well 2 actually, and the lesson on watercolor pencil by drawspace's Dors, I believe I can accomplish the fairyale illustration I wanted to do. The library has some of these videos and will purchase others upon request. Check there if you have a bigger library system then we here do , they may have them all.

I just received one of the three Sandra Angelo DVDs. It was good, but I can't say I learned that much from it. I will wait to see if the other ones are better. Maybe I am expecting too much.

I'm taking her colored pencil class right now. . . today will be week five of six. I enjoyed weeks one and two's lessons but week three and four not so much. Am looking forward to the technique covered tonight though. I do not have any of her CP videos though. They are too expensive for me.

Are you taking her online workshops or in person? I just finished video 3 and it is just ok. I am glad I did not buy them.

I have been using her DVD/Book course on Basic Drawing 101 and have just ordered two further cources from her: Faces 101 and Pets 101.

I started the course because of an article I read that she wrote.
I was needing to sort of go back to basics and improve my accuracy etc.
I had stared a series of drawings based on the Bargue book of casts and drawings from sculpture.
If you want to see a leap forward in your drawimg in a sort time, I'd highly recommend Sandra Angelo's courses, books and DVD's. Don't just rent the DVD. You really need the books to know the full lessons.
She is very clear in her presentations, exercises, etc.
