When I went to "My Drawspace" and clicked on "Advanced controls" or "Add/edit galleryalbums" i get a "page cannot be found" error message.

I keep coming across the two symbols, side by side, ?? everywhere.
Edit: It isn't double question marks, it just won't let me post the symbols... weird...

No matter how many times I try to refresh, still the same error.

This is what I get when I try to upload a new image in my album

Thanks Ninla, there does indeed appear to be a problem with the "Favorites" feature.

To those of you who see the "500" error -- does that message appear consistently? Or if you try again, does the message go away?

same thing with me. It happens every time I try to upload an image.

Still can't upload pictures. 8:42am Western Standard time USA on 04/19/08

When I try to insert the copyright simbol into my images when I upload them, the simbol doesn't apear, instead there is a question mark. it was working well before....I don't know what happend.

I don't know it this has anything to do with the server...

Does anyone know when we will be able to upload our drawings again ?

Hi Amanda, I'm sorry to hear that you can't upload pictures I can upload with no problem, sorry but don't know what's wrong with yours...I supose only someone from Administration can help you. Hope you can solve that problem quickly

I have the same problem as BRB ,the error message is page cannot be found,you cannot upload any new drawings or edit the exhisting gallery.

I'm still waiting too. But they are working on it, be patient. Once they get it strait, there will be an overflow of uploading to fix

Hi guys,

Just an update on where things stand at the moment...

We are currently in the process of testing new versions of the forum and gallery software using the production database. A number of things make this process a slow one, including the astronomical amount of data contained within Drawspace, and the fact that we have to continually apply the upgrade patch and then revert it again if things go wrong and start over (to give an impression of the time scale involved, it takes about 90 minutes for every upgrade/revert cycle).

The fact that the forum and gallery have to be upgraded in concert (in this case) is also throwing a wrench in the works. Basically, we're just being cautious and extra-thorough with our testing -- we'd rather not have to go through another period of downtime, or still have a semi-functioning website at the end of all this.

On the bright side, once we're finally up and running with the new software in place, you will notice quite a few new features in both the forum AND in the gallery.

Keep the error reports coming, folks. You've all been a great help so far! Things will be back to normal shortly.

I hope the gallery upgrades include links to any new comments posted. With all the comments in my gallery, it's almost impossible to find the more recent ones people leave.

Doesn't this new upgrade have any individual photo edit features in the gallery anymore?

On the individual image page in the middle-right there's an "Options" popup; "Edit image" is one of the choices there.

I'm leaving this message for Venus.

She has a very complex problem. From what I can understand Drawspace server is recognizing her as both "Venus" and sometimes as her sign in ID, but it won?t let her sign in with her ID and password. When she goes on Drawspace she has to go on as a guest. But, when she did go on I saw her in forums as "Venus" once and also as her sign in ID at another time.

Also she tried to create a new account and it did the same thing as before.

I'm only guessing but the DS server must be recognizing her IP address, but won' let her sign in normally. When she tries with the correct ID and Password she said it gives her a blank page.

I'm trying to access a lesson in the Beginner's section....12 Dolly the Sheepish Sheep...and I can't. I just get the message 'error in files'. Is this a problem with the upgrades (the lesson was there before) or has the lesson disappeared?
I'm working my way through the site and this was next on my list.
Btw.....Love the lessons. Love looking at everyone's work. Brilliant site.

I would follow admin's advice in clearing the browser cache (especially cookies) as a first step to figuring this out. I see both recent failed logins and recent successful logins on her account, so something is certainly "up".

Part of our upgrade involved changing the DNS entries for Drawspace.com, and unfortunately it does take up to a week for those changes to become available in every corner of the internet. We have accounted for this on our end, but it's possible that our solution is somehow interfering with Venus' access.

If DNS troubles are to blame, then the problem will clear up on it's own soon. Otherwise, if clearing the browser cache doesn't work, we'll take it from there.

Thanks CougieBear, turns out this wasn't the only lesson missing.

I12, O03, C11, P12, B05 and Z10 have all been restored to their rightful places.

I just did a quick test with a demo account and everything worked as it should. Keep in mind that you can only edit or delete your own images.

I am noticing that I'm not getting email notices when I get a PM, nor can I find a control panel option to turn this feature on or off.

I'm aware of that! But I still can't find anything that allows me to delete or edit images in my own album.

Hmm. When I click that "OPTIONS" button, the choices are Pin Image, Unapprove Image, Edit Image, Move Image, Delete Image, Report Image. What do you get?

Just report image. Nothing about editing or deleting the image.

I should also mention that whenever I view someone's profile and click on were it says gallery in order to view their artwork, nothing happens. I'm just assuming that not all the bugs have been worked out yet.
