Hi everyone,
I just started sketching for fun about a month ago - (as you can tell - lol!)
but I need to know how I would take an image like this and bring it into photoshop for coloring.
Would I make this lineart? Then color?
I know the basic steps but for some reason whenever I try to do something, it comes out terrible.

Any help with this sketch would be greatly appreciated.
Feedback, etc...
It's still in basic stages - but enough to give you an idea..

Thanks.

Hi Claudia
This is the way I do it: When you are pleased with your pencil drawing then go ahead and ink it in. Erase the pencil lines and then scan greyscale at 200 percent at about 150 dpi. When scanned into photoshop, go to Image/Adjustments/brightens and contrast and adjust until you have a nice clean and clear image.
I don?t resize the image until it is finished. Hope this helps

Thank you so much, Lance.
I really appreciate the help.
So you ink yours by hand - not in Photoshop, yes?
I've tried inking in photoshop...not as happy with that - probably cause I'm not good at it. ha ha

Thanks again!

Your new friend,

Claudia
