[b][color=#CC66CC]Hi my name is Kim. I am not new to drawing, but I like to learn new tips and ideas. And this looked like an iteresting site. So who knows. Maybe I will be able to meet some new friends who share some common interests.

I kind of new myself and I hope you post some drawings. I have found the artist to be very kind and supportive. So, welcome.

Hey Kim,
Great to have another overly enthusiastic beginner join us. You seem to be full of energy getting into this drawing and you could really find no better site than right here. The entire reason this site exists is for the beginners. Brenda is credited with two super books on drawing titled Drawing for Dummies; and The Idiot's Guide to Drawing People.
Well, those titles alone let you know that you arrived at the right place. Not saying you are a Dummy or an Idiot though, because that's what everyone thinks I am. Well, then again, I don't give them any good reasons not to think that. But, then again, knowiing the other members here, they are probably just kidding me anyway.
So, if its beginning drawing you're seeking, then grab your pencil and paper and dig right in. Read through the beginning lessons, get a feel for the way Brenda lays it all out, then go at it. Don't forget to put your pics into the Gallery as we would all love to tell you how well you are doing.
If you really want to amaze yourself. Go to the Drawing Challenge and pick one of the reference photos. Sit down and really concentrate on putting what you see on paper. If you couldn't draw before, you will be totally amazed at what you can already do. If you have questions, or get stuck on trying to get something right, that's where the rest of the gang come in. Remember, I'm a Dummy and an Idiot. Those other people out there are the experts.
Welcome,
Eric

DD,
You have the right to say anything you like here, and welcoming someone to your Drawspace is perfectly alright. This space is put here for all of us to enjoy and feel at home with. I'm really glad to see you welcoming people here, because it makes me know that you like it here as well.
Thank you for being the Rebel on this.
Eric
