Hi! I'm Ken, I spend way too much time on my computer and not enough time at my drawing table. Now that I've found this site, I've also found yet another reason to spend more time on the computer. It's absolutely fabulous to see a site where drawing tips and lessons are shared so freely. One can never stop learning. I am lucky enough to have worked as an artist for a children's entertainment company (www.cackleberries.com), through which I have had the opportunity to work with many talented people. My own art has grown in leaps and bounds by watching and learning with those people, and I look forward to learning from and with all of you.
I will try to post more and more of my sketches as I dig through the sketchbooks and scan them. Viewing people's sketchbooks is my favourite thing as an artist, it is amazing how much more personal the sketchbook is compared to the finished art. A finished piece of art is most often meant to be shared with the public, the sketchbook is rarely intended for that kind of exposure. So, in sharing my sketches, I hope I am able to share a piece of me with you. And I thank you for sharing yourself.
Cheers,
Ken
ps. I am totally new to the forum style of communicating, so forgive me if I make any faux pas.
