I'm re-posting this here because no one is visiting the "Portrait Gallery"; It was done by request of the wife of an on-line friend who saw my "Erin" portrait.
Done with charcoal and graphite; note: this reproduction is too contrasty and missing some mid-range tones

I think it has a nice look to it. You could maybe pull a couple highlights out in the hair.

John I just told you she is so lovely(drawn) that one falls in love with her.Reminds me of those Cupid faces in Italian painting.I mean has some Renaissance touch.

Thanks for your comments...she is a lovely lady; I readily admit that I'm less than competent with hair; it's something I intend to work on.
