If you click on the Calendar button, at the top right of the screen, it has a birthdays thing, saying who's birthday it is on that date. The problem is, there's about 8 - 14 birthdays a day. Maybe it should be limited to members who have posted, say, 5 times or more or something. Otherwise, it's kind of pointless

I wouldn't expect the software is not smart enought to let them limit who is displayed. Each user puts some day in as a birthday when they join, the software just displays the names that are set to that day. I am a member and post, but I sure would never put my real birthday in a public forum. Date of birth is public record, but It can still be used by places like the pharmacy or other such places a personal identifyer.. it is personal info and really should not be displayed. Sorry I am a compter admin and personal information is very import to keep secure these days.. Identity theft is for real and you don't need to be an adult to be a victim!!
