Find my pencil - among other things - like paper and eraser and glasses, etc.

Nothing, really. I just sit and draw, although i suppose I need to find my pencil

What do I need to do before drawing? Everything else! sad.gif

Usually before I draw I have some kind of idea of what I want to draw so I spend couple of minute thinking about it.If my drawing is spontaneus then i just grab a paper and pencil and start..

I'm with Melinda on this one, everything else has to be done before I can draw. Don't get to drawing very often. sad.gif

I wish I was constrained by society sad.gif , free will is driving me nuts!

It's not society Drawer32, it's my own sense of responsibility. I feel that only after everything else is done do I have to the time and energy to devote to drawing. If I sit down to draw and the dishes aren't done or the bills aren't paid, or I made a commitment for something that isn't done yet, I feel that I have to finish those things first. If I don't, my mind will poke me about them while I'm drawing and I find myself unable to focus on drawing. Then there is the issue of once everything is done, I'm tired and don't feel like doing anything, even drawing. That happens a lot too.

biggrin.gif Before I start a drawing I have to make sure my entire area is clean!! I hate having a messy work space.

Phew! Lucky I'm not bothered by my messy desk or the only thing I would spend hours on would be cleaning, and not drawing. tongue.gif

Man, why are you criticizing people's replies? They're just answering honestly. Not everyone in the world can afford to be as carefree and free-willed as you obviously are. Lucky you. Have your messy desk and no-obligations life and don't make fun of the people who have real responsibilities and consciences. For some of us, drawing is a luxury that only comes second after family/work. Please don't start these polls unless you can be tolerant and polite to the people who reply. dry.gif

Then again, you might just be attempting to be adorably sarcastic, in which case I apologize for the harsh judgement.
