sad.gif Im having a hard time right now am very ill and unable to sit out side in the damp and cold weather as it will make me more ill i dont know if anyone can help i have an Exercise that i need to do for the distance learning art course that am doing and the exercise that they have asked me to do is this

A drawing in pen and ink , of any overgrown part of my environment. it can be a garden, a park or even an abandoned scrap yard. try and work in layers of pen line in order to build up the density and rishness of the vegatation. i have looked everywhere for a photo to do this and i cant find one so i was thinking do any of u guys have a photo that u can let me use it to do this?? i did do this exercise but i wast happy with it i have only been doing art for a very short time i did give the drawing to the tutor to mark so am re doing this exercise agian i have attach my old drawing on this tread i only had a Fine liner black pen thats it!

It sounds like Danny has you taken of with appropropriate reference material, if not, I can send some too if needed.

By the way, I think the drawing you posted works well. It shows tthat you're heading in the right direction with this exercise. Depth means giving different levels of tone to a drawing to make objects retreat or come forward. I'm sure you'll create a drawing to be proud of and that your tutor will love too.

Thank you D@nnyH71 its very kind of u i got the email today and i love the one with the old tree inti it looks very hard but i will give it ago as i havent done much drawing and ink is very hard
