I brought this up before but have yet to hear from the tech people on how to fix the problems.

1 Ever since the site upgrade, I no longer have the edit and delete photo options in my gallery. Yes I click on a photo in my gallery and yes I click the options but no were does it say delete or edit.

2 I cannot add attachments to posts in the forums. I have to post any images directly from my photobucket account instead.

This is the LAST time I'm going to ask the tech people to look into this. The last time I brought it up, they pretty much blew me off instead of helping to correct the problem. If this problem persists, I will remove my album, cancel my account and catch a cyberwave some place else. I understand that there will be some temp. tech. glitches during the upgrade but this is just getting frustrating.

Dude take a pill. How much did you pay to be able to put those photos on the web in your gallery???
I have no issue with my gallery, have you tired login out and back in? Have you deleted all your temp internet files and cookies? Have you check your options and setting for your user perferences?
Have you tried to disable your firewall and security software to see if that will make a difference?
Sorry you are having trouble but you have to remember, sites like this are here due to the goodness of someones heart and their passion to help others. Those 2 things done make a lot of money, tech support is most likely done by someone for free in their spare time. Give the above a try and let us know if it works.

rsine,

I've been investigating your account now for nearly a week, and I'm afraid that I don't have any clues as to why you're the only member unable to edit your own gallery.

In a previous thread, someone recommended checking your Javascript settings. I assume you've done that and there were no problems? Your original description of the problem does suggest that your browser isn't interpreting the new Javascript components properly.

I notice that you often (perhaps exclusively) use Firefox to connect to the site. What happens if you try to connect using Internet Explorer? (Barbaric, I know, but you know what they say about desperate times...). This would be a sanity check on the Javascript situation.

Give that a try, and we'll proceed from there.

Ok I shut off my Firewall and that seems to do the trick. Sorry about being so mad but I had become very frustrated with these tech issues especially when the site was working just fine for me before the upgrades.

I am glad you found where the issues was. Now you really need to deal with the technical issues because regardless of what Mr Gates and Apple tell everyone, you really do need to understand the software if you want to be safe. There is probably some way to add the drawspace.com to a so called white list that will allow it to work with your firewall turned on. Please don't just turn off the firewall, try and find the correct way to fix the issue so the site works and your compture is as secure as possible.
