I will try to answer you by saying if you practice everyday from lessons, photos, real life and have patience you will learn a lot in a short time. You can take these lessons or find your own objects to draw, an apple, a pencil, a flower pot.Don't be afraid of making mistakes and keep a public album to receive comments and guidance. Also see the weekly challenges and draw what you like from the photos there. All members here are wonderful people, artists, teachers, who will help you along the way.It helps also to interact with others and participate in activities which relate to drawing. All you need is time and patience to grow. And Welcome to drawspace.com.

PS. If look at my albums you will see that everything was done after i joined this March drawspace.I draw at least a couple of hours everyday. If this progress was possible for a 50 years old lady, surely it is more likely to happen even sooner to a younger person who draws everyday.

If you want to improve your art, you will. Persistence = improvement.

This site is very user friendly. Lessons are free, fun, and they work. Browse through them, you'll see they are step-by-step and easy to understand.

If you want to converse with other members and add your own comments, look at the current forum topics or make a new one.

Look through the older threads for tons of tips and ideas about all kinds of art topics.

Browse the galleries. In the member gallery, if you see a style of art you like, look at the member's profile and other drawings they've done. You can make new friends this way too. Build your own gallery.

Hope you stick around and have fun. wink.gif -Melinda
