To me the best story about each member of this drawspace is his/her albums and personal gallery. And that can talk volumes, if you know what I mean

Cassie, you need to draw first, next create albums that are public and people can leave comments on your work, participate in challenges and art talk and read older threads, this is how we know each other .Welcome to drawspace, BTW.

Pintail, the personal gallery is the collection of albums you create with your art and/or photography and make public so others have the chance to see it and leave comments; and one can acces it from the member's profile under the name gallery. Each picture that you add to a public album can be seen in the general members gallery and from there clicking on user's information one is taken to your page where he/she can see all your albums.Just click on my profile, go to my page and from there click on Gallery and you will be alble to access all my six albums with drawings and photos.Hope that helps to understand how it works.

My story started when i was very young. My mother taught me to see simple forms in complex forms. She was good at what some people call doodling. One of her things was showed me was she drew a figure two and then made a swan out of it by adding a few simple lines. I got a reputation as an artist around the age of 10. I soon started drawing portraits of class mates.
When I married at age 19 i neglected my art and only painted occasionally. When i was 40 I became a self employed sign painter, which required my artistic skills. I also painted portraits and landscapes in oils occasionally.
I started back practicing drawing portraits in graphite pencils in 2004. Then when I retired at 62 I became more active with drawing portraits.
