Oh I am sooo glad (phew!),
I only did 2 in the large size. I was on a bit of an art roll and just went on with the Disney ones.
I'll make a note of those who don't mind and you'll just have to see what arrives in the mail (there are only 2 cards several who are OK with them). But thanks for that I'd hate to do them again, I am happy with how they turned out.
I can't believe how excited I am about this swap - the research brought back happy memories and the cards (so far) have been so much fun - like a kid again copying out of the comic book! I think its the nostalgia that is making this a favourite of mine.

This is going to be alot of fun. I too have started the cards and put them on 4x6 inch 140lb watercolor postcard paper. My plan was to just cut them to the 2.5x3.5 inch size. I do think the postcard format is a nice idea.
Looking forward to getting addresses and receiving cards in the mail, and so is my young son.
Happy Canada Day to fellow canadians.
PS
Kay-Don't you just love having the house to yourself? I'm jealous.

here is an example of my trade book, i love it very much, this is my third trade but i am loving it alot..it is wonderful to have so many art samples from so many wonderful artist from all sorts of wonderful places..what a great conversation piece and beats the heck out of the normal coffee table magazines. the back of each card is left exposed to see the info and perhaps a neat stamp, business card, or a cute origami frog..

I have 10 finished and ready to mail.
I have my ATC cards in baseball card pages like Kay. I have all the pages in a binder. I also have several albums that hold 4x6 postcards. I have been in several trades for those as well. And then I got a square album for some others. I have over 100 of the ATCs and probably 35 postcards and other various shapes. I buy my albums at the dollar store so I bought quite a few at once. Such fun.

That's ok. I can wait. Like you I left the back of the cards showing. That way I don't have to pull them out to read who they are from. Right now I am in several trades but I have so enjoyed the Disney ones that they are getting finished first. It seems like a lot of people in here feel the same way.

I had all my cards in little "slip-in" photo albums (you know like brag books) but with some of the postcard swaps some are larger than that size so I moved them to a scrapbook. I use clear photo corners to hold them in place so that I can remove them to read the back if I want and I can fit in the postcard sizes easily too. I am very happy with the result.
Jeanne, until you mentioned how many you had I thought "I have nowhere near that............."
I stopped counting at 100 with another "brag book" to go

. I never thought it was sooo many!! I'll have to get the rest of the scrapbook pages to finish the album (and maybe start another!)
I have just counted and I am / or have been involved in 14 swaps. Still have 4 swaps to finish cards in - but I don't have addresses for 2 of them yet.
This swap is just taking over - have finished 6 how many participants do we have ....10 ?????
This is a page from the pet portrait swap we did in Wet Canvas last year where folk did portraits of our pets whose photos we submitted - I have so many beautiful pics of my dogs past and present - it was a fantastic swap.

Jeanne and Sue thats awsome, I only have 6 from my first trade with loony tunes, now I'll get another 12..so I supose I'll get to 100 some day
Sue, we are 13 people in this swap, so you'll get another 12
I was thinking of doing a scrapbook with mine too...and after seeing your's I am sure that's what I'll do!!

that pet swap must have been amazing.
All my cards are in stage 3 now
stage 1: decide what to draw
stage 2: draw
stage 3: coloring
having allot of FUN doing these
My cards are in stage 1 1/2, which is; now that I have decided what to draw, where is the time?

Kaly , the swaps in Wet Canvas have between 20 - 25 people in each, but they run over 3 - 6 mths. Just remember though that you have to think of 24 things to do yourself! At the moment I am getting stuck on doing copies of the Masters for a postcard size swap over there. Everytime I start one of them I am terrified that I'll ruin a well known piece of art

.
Actually I am going to have to start mailing this swap soon or I am going to end up wanting to keep them all! I am having so much fun, they are so colourful - and they keep looking at me whispering "keep me..........keeep me......"

oh sorry I have to get out more

Hey Liz, we've always been friends...can I come visit?

I love lobsters and most of sea food
I guess that's a very good reason for not having time to make disney cards, friendship is a very important thing and since you cannot be with your friends all the time its good that you dedicate every minute you can to those who love you!!
Have fun

and keep me a lobster...
