Inspired by mechtonia i wanted to try my skills at a famous artist and make his caricature. Here it is.

By the looks of the wild mustache, I think salvador dali would be a good guess. Haha. Nice.

Maybe a wild background would be fitting for him.

I started value drawing in march this year. But line drawing i did all my life ocasionaly. This caricature thing is recent.

Im not really good at caricatures - I am more of a "realism" type of artist, I totally agree that caricatures takes a special skill!!

I just found this site and was thrilled as I have just purchased a book on cartooning. It contains lots of great information, some about how to look at the face and body and pick out the most unusual freatures and build on them. I would like to join this group if I could, so I can practice and get some good critique on how I can improve.
