Hey yall, i was looking through some photos the other day and saw a really cool wallhanging. The feller took a tanned beaver hide and painted a grizzly bear on the fur. I was wondering how one would prepare the fur for painting? how bout leather?

just wondering

No idea about fur, but leather is fairly simple. Wipe with alcohol, paint with quality acrylic paint like Golden Fluid Acrylics, top coat with Golden Transparent Extender.
