Hi !,

I do alot of studio drawings of nudes in art class. They are various mediums, graphite, pen, charcoal, conte crayon and pastel.
I would like to post some of them to my drawspace folder.
They are tasteful and not pornographic.

I'm not clear on the site's position does anyone know?

Thanks.

Tasteful nudes can be posted directly in your gallery without any special procedure. "Tasteful" includes, for the most part, anything you'd do in a normal figure drawing class.

If something is judged to be inappropriate, a moderator will first ask you to remove it, and after a short while if it remains it will be removed by the moderator.

As stated by Ernest Firedman if it is represented tastfully there should be no issue. The human body is beautiful!

I'm currently in a Life Drawing class, and I've posted some of my drawings showing some resemblance of a nude woman. Unfortunately, my skill is not that good to render the body very realistically; especially when the poses are very quick. The poses were 5, 10 and 30 min poses. However, I've improved quite a bit since I first started. I've posted some of my studies in my life drawing class topic.

Here is the link.

You are more than welcome to post there as well. I would love to see your work. Also, since you talk of experience, I welcome any comments on my progression or even pointers to aid in my development in drawing Life Drawing.

In the main gallery, I've seen some excellent work that is in the nude. This community has some incredible artists.

Gilbert

Tasteful ....meaning NO open legs showing any detail of the genital area .....no sexual poses ....no girl on girl or two people doing a sexual act even if their not showing any sexula detail . some people get confused with just saying tasteful ....it can mean something different to each of us .

I agree the human body is a beautiful thing .....but childeren still visit this site .
