The process is simple. Find 3 -5 reference images ranging from simple shapes to more complex images to suit the needs of beginners to more advanced artists. The images should be your own photographs that are copyright free. Keep in mind artistic composition and contrast when choosing images for drawing. I have attached 3 images as examples of ranges of shapes to give an idea of the types of photos that can be used. (You can do a little practice and draw these if you want, they're not part of any challenge, just example images)
Each person's images will be different of course and that's what makes the challenges interesting.
The Drawing Challenges are for two weeks in length to allow a wide range of people to participate.
Once you have decided on your photos, upload them onto your Drawing Challenge thread and monitor the challenge for two weeks. Its that simple.
Please indicate if you wish to take one of the following time slots. I thought we would go in 2 month blocks and have a couple of people in reserve, just in case something comes up for someone. Listings with a line through them indicate drawing challenges that have been completed. People can however still participate in them and add drawings if they wish.
