I'm 17 and at the point in my life where I need to seriously prepare for my future and I want art to be a part of it!

I've been drawing manga style and frankly I don't want to be tied down to such a childish habit and start widening my range of styles. I'm looking to learn how to draw more realistically by using this site as my guide and hopefully getting some useful tips from some more experienced artists.

I look forward to sharing my future artworks with everyone here at Drawspace, I just hope I can tear myself away from doing the same hands-behind-back pose I've been doing

Juin I know exactly how you feel! I used to do manga all the time and I just wanted to try something new that would help me in my art career. Now don't get my wrong I still have a great love for the art of manga but I just didn't see myself using it in the job field. Don't worry the transition from manga to drawing realisticly isn't that bad.....just don't give up. Oh and I almost forgot..... SAVE THE PANDAS!!!!
