This is the first time I've tried anime and it's a lot of fun. My Kira is so QTLicious that my daughter is going to be very impressed with her Mum lol. Thanks for the lessons.

I have never herd of Manga, enjoyed the lesson.

Great, great lesson. She is adorable just like her little sister. Cotton
Sepheria
Very nice lesson, she also happens to have the same name as me, and I have the same last name as brenda, weird!

I enjoy drawing anime, I have to try and stay away from the style a bit though, and get more into realism before I step into stylized drawing.

When I search for subjects, Kira is located in the Animals tab.
Kira doesn't look like an animal =).
Could this be changed?
Fabiandevries
At point 9, you say to measure the distance from the verticle line, but in fact, it's the horizontal line! wacko.gif

I think this lesson was easy. It is a drawing without any perspective or such things.
I renamed my manga drawing to Hoshi =). Hoshi is a Japanese name, as is the style.
This lesson was a fun and quick one, I really enjoyed it!

I enjoyed this lesson very much. I actually drew something that didn't look totally messed up. Here's my original and colored (I need more work on my shading unsure.gif ):

Most anime styles don't really look like the tutorial. Lip are practically never colored and while the hair is arranged in a... er, unique... style, most characters don't have hair that looks like a sculpture. Also, eyebrows are generally not that thick (they're drawn as lines).

Fun lesson - lots and lots of mistakes, so I had to add color. I really enjoy drawing these anime characters.

I liked this lesson as well. But one problem. I didn't realize that the bottom lip was changing to a curve before I drew it in ink. I tried to correct it by making it thicker but it looks somewhat like a beard. That was disappointing.

But overall I really liked this lesson. I like the eyes and hair. cool.gif

I enjoyed drawing Kira more than Bitty...I think that might have to do with less circles...lol My Kira is in my gallery if you are interested. Fun lesson!

Very Nice and Useful.Thanks....

My Kira turned out pretty well and was a lot of fun to do. Amazing how simple it is to draw such a lifelike eye.
Am looking forward to the next lesson, Wanda.
Bye, Trees

This was good practice for me on drawing faces. My proportion is still a bit off and my lines aren't solid.
Here is my Kira.

A couple of my middle school art classes drew Kira and were so proud of themselves. They looked great!! Few have any patience, but the step-by-step directions broke the task down into steps they could accomplish.
