Drawing the crumpled paper was a challenge but interesting to see the shapes shown in the drawings. One that I drew looked like a face, another a bird. (The different drawings were drawn at slightly different angles of the crumpled paper.) I feel this is a good exercise to make the artist aware of time which sometimes may be lost while doing a creative work.

Hello I'm a newbie to this site but I can tell that I'm going to learn alot of things here. I'm a self-taught artist and I prefer using graphite to any other medium. And I want to just leave a big THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to this site ......Sincerely, Nancy M.

on this subject is very interesting here that one begins to learn the basic structures and forms of objects and how to understand the exercises to be trained.
