My daughter is still enjoying drawing with the old man. We just did Brenda's "Jumping Jack" lesson in two short sessions over two days. This is the first time I've ever got her to put a drawing aside and come back to it later -- an important thing to learn, I think.

Ernest, it is wonderful that you can spend such quality time together doing something so simple in this world of electronic distractions that seemed deliberately designed to isolate people.
You are going to have to get her her own identity on here - she is becoming quite the artist!!

Thoes are great! My son loves to draw too, he's only 5 though, hopefully when he gets a little older we'll be able to draw together.

Ernest,
Believe me you are investing precious time in something that will pay huge dividends. My daughter at age 29 still fondly tells stories of how we read together, sang together, they are among her earliest and happiest memories. (Back then I didn't know I could draw, sometimes I am still not sure I can, lol) Danielle seems to be a chip off the old block, eh? It is great to see this, she seems to be good at it too! thank you for sharing these tender moments.
