Hi, so i just joined today..
and I'm having serious trouble uploading photos to my gallery.
I only managed to get 2 sketches up..
I even tried decreasing the file size on my pictures, but still.. it refuses to accept them. I dont think they are large at all, i'm wondering if this is a glitch, or if I'm just a newbie and dont know how to work the site yet...

But any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated. =]

Assuming you're using Microsoft Windows: if you right-click on an image file and choose "Properties", you should get a dialog box that tells you the size of the image in bytes/kilobyte/megabytes. I believe the upload limit is 2 megabytes -- at least, that's the limit for attachments in the forum. What does Windows say your file size is?

It says my pictures are 1.40MB.... so I dont see the problem there.

Maybe the limit is less. Most folks actually try to limit the size of an image to ~100KB out of respect for people on lower-bandwidth connections, so they won't run into the limit anyway, whatever it is.

I too am having trouble. My scans posted with no poblem but the digital photos of my other pics would not load. Also can't seen to put my personal photo in the correct place. It is in the members section. How can I move it over?

I put my last challenge drawing on the discussion forum with no problem - it had been scanned at 200dpi. When I tried to put the same one on my Gallery, it came up with 'too big', so I had to change the resolution to 75. I hadn't realised before they were different, as I usually scan at 75 for ease of uploading, and they've got to be that for Wet Canvas.

I think albums have a max of about 160KB

Cayla92, I had trouble with the same thing. I got help from this forum (she said to reduce size to 400x600 Pixels -- approximately), but when I tried to upload my drawings again, guess what? They loaded with no resizing at all! What's up with that? Anyway, try it again, if it doesn't work, try re-sizing. If that doesn't work, try again, etc. sorry, that's the best I can do.
