Ok heres my story im 15 and have a passion for anime and drawning but never drew, i have horrible drawings none look too spectacular and i want to improve, does any1 have a suggestion that could help me make more textures and real like people drawings?????

EDIT:BTW my profile pic is my only successfull picture and that was doen in MS paint....

welcome in DS my advice for u first u must trust about your drawing second try to draw in real life any thing you can see it draw it last thing and not's the least learning from people and i am with kim i think after that u will be BECASO

Alpha, welcome and thanks for posting. Its brave to make the first post and braver still to ask for help.

Everyone here is willing to help you achieve what you want from art.

You say you like anime, well that's great. Anime is built on solid drawing techniques like any other subject. You need to practice sketching people, expressions, clothing, etc. to be able to draw anime figures well. They are, after all, just rather exaggerated drawings of real people.

There are lots of sites online with anime tutorials that you can follow and I'd suggest you start there, but most of all, just draw. Draw every day, every thing, any thing to practice your skills. You'll be amazed at your progress in just a couple of months.

Also if you post something that you're trying to draw, then people can help guide you.
