Wow,, what a site! A friend found it for me and forwarded it to help me out in my art ventures.

I am a 44 yr old female and painted my first canvas about a month ago. (I usually paint on skulls).

The only art class I have had was in Jr high and my art teacher basically let me know I had no talent.

But, I have decided to just try anyway. sometimes I have it , sometimes I don't..ha

I find painting is easier than drawing. Guess I can hide my mistakes easier... or something.

Been trying to do some abstracts with horses and cats. Not sure they are actually abstracts but they are something.. grin.

I just love this site.. I think I"ll be up all night going thru it.

I think this site will really help me.

I do have a question though..

what is ACEO? I think that is what it is.. I see it on ebay a lot with artist's work.

well, time to get back to the lessons..

Welcome, glad you found drawspace. There's plenty here to inspire. When I found this site in May, I spent 2 or 3 days just going through everyone's galleries, seeing such amazing works of art. It certainly inspired me to start up the lessons and join the community. Don't be afraid to post questions or comments, we're here to help. Unfortunately, though, I have no idea what ACEO means.
