Hello everyone! Found this site and was impressed with the talented artwork displayed.
I'm not a professional artist by the way, my full time job is a draughtsman but I take time
out to dabble in drawing as well as 3D modelling.

In 2D art, I mainly use pen and ink, sometimes pencils. In the 3D area, I use Silo, Povray
and Kerkythea.

Look forward to seeing more good stuff !

Cheers ![attachmentid=997]

Holy Cow!

That's some fantastic ink-work Dissector! Did you rough it out in graphite first, or did you just go for the kill, dripping ink-pen in hand?

You truly are an ink ninja! ph34r.gif

Welcome btw. wink.gif

Thanks Sickfish!
When I do ink-pen drawings, I always rough it out with a light pencil, ensuring I've got the proportions and composition reasonbly correct, then I do the rendering. The tiger took approx. 8 hours to complete.
I usually use a Rotring 0.25mm drawing pen but sometimes a fine nib.

Cheers,
Dissector
