Absolutely, positively, beyond any shadow of a doubt, this will not happen here. Drawspace is a friendly, helpful, inclusive, supportive, noncompetitive, non-judgmental learning environment.
Excellent. I can scarcely think of anything more pointless or irrelevant than some sort of rating/scoring system.
I've seen problems on another site recently, where scoring of artwork became a popularity contest, with people marking up their friends, marked down people they disagreed with, and down content or media they disliked or disapproved of, irrespective of the quality of the work. Even if "quality of work"
is the criterion, its
still divisive and pointless. Somebody who's been an artist for 20 years shouldn't need their ego boosting (in fact retaining some humility sometimes seems to be more of an issue

) and beginners, or those working under disadvantaged conditions, are certainly not going to gain from being scored down in a competition.
What matters is that people enjoy their art, make progress at their own pace, and are able to look for help and support from the community.
