Social Geography is one of my passions. I'm just thrilled that we are an incredibly diverse community of artists.
As I read posts and get to know people, I really love to know where you live on this vast planet. If possible, please share the country in which you live, by adding it to your profile!
I thought I'd share the top thirty countries, from which artists from all over the world, came together on this forum in November. Keep in mind that we had over 3.3 million hits on the site and around 100,000 unique visitors viewing or using the forum last month, so lots of visitors live in countries not listed.

Wow, we really are a multinational group aren't we?
I think its wonderful that the internet makes it possible to communicate with so many countries and people. To share ideas and thoughts and processes. It amazes me constantly.
Thanks Brenda.

That's true Brenda. I have practically taken up residence on this site over the past three weeks or so and I'm from Malta.

It is wonderful how the internet brings us all together no matter our location or social status.
Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank you for the lucid and enlightening lessons and also for making this such a friendly site, even for total beginners like myself. I feel truly privileged and honoured to be here and be instructed by a meastro such as yourself.
Thank you.

I am always amazed at who you meet on the internet. It keeps me more up to date on my geography for one thing. LOL
I am fascinated by people who are not from the USA - we all do things so differently but when it comes to art, its all the same language.

Thanks Brenda for making this all possible! The lessons on here are just one of the many things I love about this site. Great people, the obsession for art , personality, and diverse nationality. It doesn't get much better than this!

I came back into this thread because it seemed like the appropriate place to share a little bit of my tiny, tiny country. I made
this video clip. some time ago using stock photos. The background music is in Maltese so maybe you can get the feel of our language.
Hope you enjoy it.
zylas: I was in Vilnius a couple of years ago - beautiful!

Laura - thank you - glad you liked it.

Chris - Oh yes, I should say plenty of drawing material... especially the colours which are always so brilliant and vibrant here.
Jeanette - that is cool! When was your husband here? Yes, I think Malta is both beautiful and interesting with a very old and varied history - I like to call it a cameo.
