See his draws!

And, what he use in his art?

I'd say this is done with a detailed under drawing and then some very controlled watercolour on top of that.

Do you mean you want to recreate this image or learn to draw/paint in a similar way? To get this level of realism, you need very good drawing and painting skills which will come with lots of practice. There are lots of subtle variations in shading in this image so a careful hand is needed to get this effect.

Why don't you try something and post it?

Also I would encourage you to find your own style .. try this image you like so well but know also while doing it that you and everyone who draws has their own style ...when I have tried in the past to say draw like ADOLFO it almost never turns out but if I look at his work then let my own style come in it feels better to me and looks better .

As Jeanette has said try something and post it lets have a see smile.gif

Agree that you should look for your own style. It is better to create your own work, however imperfectly, than to perfectly copy someone else's. I think you will find it more satisfying too! There are lots of photos in the inspiration gallery that deal with wildlife, and a couple of animals on this week's drawing challenge. wink.gif Give it a try and post your work. You will find the instructors and members here very supportive and helpful. Look forward to seeing your work!
